I’ve been testing this as a general household cleaner and overall it performs well, with a few things worth noting. It works very well on glass. As long as you wipe it thoroughly it dries clear and doesn’t leave streaks. I also had good results using it on stainless steel appliances. It removes fingerprints easily and leaves the surface looking clean, although you do want to wipe it well afterward. On wood surfaces it actually leaves a very nice appearance and seems to brighten the finish a bit without looking greasy. One area where it’s a little less strong is heavy grease. It will remove it, but it works better if you spray it and let it sit for a short time before wiping. For normal everyday messes it works fine. The scent is pleasant and mild, which I prefer over strong or artificial-smelling cleaners. It also comes with a nice microfiber cloth, which is a useful bonus. Overall this works well as a general-purpose cleaner for everyday surfaces like glass, stainless steel, and counters. It may need a little dwell time for grease, but for routine cleaning it performs very nicely.
At $30 for 16oz. at the time of this review, this is a very expensive cleaner so is it worth it? It does come packaged really well and secure. The solution, the sprayer and the sprayer tube are packaged separately. It also includes a microfiber towel. All the components feel durable and sturdy and it works as it should. I like that it is made in the USA and it is made with natural, plant-based ingredients. It does work really well and the smell is a pleasant citrus scent. My kids loved the scent. They said it smells like 7-Up and after they said they, I compared and it really does! I'm on the fence if this is really worth $30 but it is made in the US, it smells nice, it works as a cleaner and its' made with natural ingredients.
I ordered this Blackline Home Clara — Plant-Based Surface Cleaner — 16 fl oz and I like it quite a bit! I've been using it in my kitchen, which has a variety of different surfaces, and it has done a good job cleaning all of them. The cleaner comes with a spray top that you self-install, as well as a large microfiber cleaning cloth (see banana for size reference.) The bottle has a premium look and feel, and the sprayer works well and doesn't feel flimsy. The eucalyptus & mint smell is a very pleasant combination. The scent is noticeable, but light and fresh. I've used the cleaner on my laminate countertop, my sealed wood countertop, my painted cabinets, and my stainless steel appliances, and it worked well to remove what I'd call "daily grime." The current price of $30 for a 16 oz bottle is steep for my cleaning budget. This cleaner works well and smells very nice, but as much as I like it, I'm not sure I'm willing to pay what I'd consider a luxury price for it.
I ordered the 'citrus grove' scent and I really like it. It does smell like citrus, mostly orange to me. Even though the packaging says it has a 'natural citrus extract', it doesn't smell like a natural smell to me. But I do like this scent of this much more than the lavender scent of the surface cleaner that my wife has been using. I have used this product on many surfaces already. Countertops, desktops and even to clean my silicone mats that I use as a background for most of my product review photos. It worked well on all these surfaces and did not leave any noticeable residue. The packaging is good. Under the cap of the bottle, they have inserted a red plastic stopper. And from my experience, these stoppers are effective at preventing any kind of leakage during shipment and indeed, there was zero leakage from the bottle. I also like that they included a very soft, absorbent microfiber cloth with this product. The towel I received is grey and measures 15.5" x 16". However, the feeder tube for the spray pump was not attached, so I had to insert it manually into the pump. After I did this, I realized that the tube was about 1.5 inches too long for the bottle I received. So I actually had to cut the tube to the right length before use.
In these times of powerful cleaners, often filled with less-than-desirable chemicals, this cleaner sounds like an attractive change of pace. In use, Clara Lavender Woods seems gentle with a very light scent, and the liquid appears much thinner than many other similar cleaners I’ve used. This makes sense, as the product listing page says it’s for “light soils”, so I plan to use it on alternating nights when I clean my kitchen countertops, unless the mess requires something stronger. I haven’t tested Clara against the last cleaner, so I can’t yet verify if it’s more or less powerful. My bottle came with a 16”x 16” microfiber towel. The full ingredients are not listed on the product page or the bottle, which is the reason I have deducted one star. Since the brand is mainly known for car care products, I decided to try it “off label” on my light gray Prius’ imitation suede center console cover which has collected several years of mostly water stains. It was so badly discolored that I threw caution to the wind and first wetted it with water and then sprayed Clara directly on it. I immediately rubbed the material lightly with a sponge. I had brought a fabric brush to the car with me, but it didn’t need the additional abrasiveness. After I rinsed it with water most of the spots were gone. To help it dry I wiped the material gently with a towel. Hopefully I was able to remove most of the cleanser so it won’t attract dirt more quickly, but that remains to be seen. I didn’t take a “before” picture, but the attached photo shows that the major spots are gone now.
With a house full of kids, I am always cleaning a dirty, sticky or crumb covered surface. I love trying new cleaning products and recently had the opportunity to order and try Blackline Grove Clara Surface Cleaner in Citrus Grove scent. This is a 16 ounce glass bottle of surface cleaner spray. I appreciate that it arrived well packaged with the sprayer nozzle and tube separate to ensure there is no spilling. The spraying nozzle works great and is easy to use. The scent is pretty awesome and to me, smells almost exactly like a popular lemon lime soda. Cleaning wise, I think it works just about the same as any other surface cleaner on my granite countertops but they do seem less streaked and I don’t feel any remaining residue afterwards. I appreciate that this is a plant based formula that is designed to clean well without harsh chemicals. I love that it’s a multi-surface cleaner that is good for most surfaces including bathrooms and kitchens, and that the scent lingers nicely after use. This really freshens my space along with leaving surfaces feeling clean. An added bonus is that this is made in the USA. All in all, I like it a lot - especially the scent. With that said, the price is very high, and I can’t think of a scenario where I would be open to spending $30 on a cleaning spray, no matter how nice it is. This has a very luxe look and feel, but it’s not a great value match for the price. Still, I will enjoy using it very much!

I got this cleaner because I wanted something that's safe to use around my little dog, who is a frequent mess-maker. This cleaner comes in a generous 16 oz. bottle, and had a nice microfiber cloth included. The fragrance is heavenly, if you like Lavender (which I do!) I tried this on my ivory color leather sofa, which had sustained some spills, and the cleaner worked just fine and did not harm the finish. NOTE: Test on a small inconspicuous area before committing to a large, visible area! I'm pleased with the product because it is effective, it smells great, and I love that it is plant-based. My kitchen and bathroom have never smelled cleaner!

I ordered this plant-based cleaner as I was hoping that it was non-toxic, but I cannot find anything about that on it. It does seem to work as well as typical kitchen cleaners for the usual jobs. I tried it on the bathtub and toilet as well, but I cannot recommend it for use in the bathroom as it was not as good as the usual cleaning products. The smell did not seem so different from the usual chemical cleaners though not quite as intense, so I leave you to your own conclusions. It arrived well packaged inside of a box with the sprayer not yet installed. The cap also had an inner cap to prevent leaks. Amazon put it inside of a sealed paper envelope as well. I am rating it four stars as it works well in the kitchen.... though not in the bath. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary...
